Fire and Security Installation Technician

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure fire protection and security systems, including fire alarms, access control systems, CCTV systems, and related equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of installed systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate installation projects and meet deadlines.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and colleagues when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including project documentation, service reports, and inventory management.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to fire protection and security systems.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in the installation and maintenance of fire protection or security systems preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of fire alarm and security systems.
- Proficient Computer Skills.
- Must be a member of Union 292 or 110, or join at time of hire.
