Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure fire protection and security systems, including fire alarms, access control systems, CCTV systems, and related equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of installed systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate installation projects and meet deadlines.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and colleagues when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including project documentation, service reports, and inventory management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to fire protection and security systems.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in the installation and maintenance of fire protection or security systems preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge of fire alarm and security systems.
  • Proficient Computer Skills.
  • Must be a member of Union 292 or 110, or join at time of hire.
