Fire Sprinkler Designer

As a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing fire sprinkler systems for a wide range of projects, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to gather project requirements and develop fire sprinkler system designs.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed sprinkler system layouts, hydraulic calculations, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and national fire codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, installation teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the installation and commissioning processes.
  • Serve as a project manager and monitor progress, identify and address any design issues or discrepancies, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and project records.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler design required.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or similar programs.
  • Strong knowledge of fire codes, regulations, and industry standards, including NFPA and local AHJs.
  • NICET Level 2 certification is preferred.
