A requirement of NFPA 25, 6.2 (the standard for fire sprinkler inspections) is that you are required to do the following:
- Have a licensed contractor annually inspect your standpipe system and control
valves. - Every five years have a licensed contractor conduct a 200 psi hydrostatic test of
the standpipe system. - Every five years have a licensed contractor conduct a flow test of the standpipe
system.
